Waited for the boyfriend to end his meeting. we left PJ around 11am.
Stopped by Ipoh for Chicken Rice. Still do not get what's so good about the chicken and taugeh.
I personally thinks it tasted the same.
Reached Penang, met a cousin of a friend, had seafood dinner by the beach.
Just like Jimbaran (Bali). Sunset and seafood. Cheap one some more. lol
Google for Restaurant 323, its at mainland. I like everything they serve.
After dinner, we headed back to our hotel at Penang Island.
Slept early to get ready for our makan makan journey on the next morning.
Its a Saturday.
We had light breakfast in the hotel, since Sunway Hotel serve good breakfast too. Don't waste. Kiasu.
Then we went to this restaurant call Song River located along Persiaran Gurney.
Recommended by my sister. We tried the 龍膽蒸米粉 and 苦瓜加蛋....
Don't be surprised with the price for 龍膽蒸米粉... it cost us RM74 for serving for two.
The Bittergourd + egg is only RM6. It is kinda special, the egg is like our half boiled egg.
After the meal, we had a tourisy walk at Lebuh Armenian.
beh tahan the hot sun. We ended up at Lorong Keng Kwee for Cendol & Assam Laksa
The weather is so so so so hot. Without waiting for our food to be digested.
We straight away reach The Mugshot Cafe (also recommended by my sister).
There's a photobooth corner and so we did the shot!
Recommendation : Bagel Muffin is a MUST. Its crunchy on the outside if you serve it immediately.
We ordered Cream Cheese + Smoked Salmon & Turkey Ham + Cranberry Sauce.
The other two are the Kiwi Yogurt & Jackfruit Yogurt......
They say the coffee is even better but I do not get to try it because I do not drink coffee.
Try it if you are at Penang. Don't just have Hokkien Mee/Assam Laksa/Curry Mee/Char Kuey Teow
You are have all those in KL/PJ food court lol. Try something special!!
